Das Island Development
The development of Das Island reclamation
and shore protection project. The period was
one year in 2011.
Das Island, situated 160 km off the coast of
Abu Dhabi, is an important hub for the export
of oil & gas. With this project the island was
extended by some 17 hectares. The project
involves the construction of 7 km revetment
for the shore protection.
