Lulu Island Reclamation Works
- In Mid 80s the project for reclamation works,excavation of excess material,levelling, and slope formation in Lulu Island was executed.
- About 4,000,000 cu3 of material was reclaimed, excavated and levelled by Al-Rafeh.
- Beach formation & construction was subsequently executed.
- Machines like D6 LGP, 966 wheel loader and 225 excavators were used on this job. Long reach excavators like VC20 were used to make slopes.
